My 7 year old just got her ears pierced in December and is still in the starter pair from Claire's. She is tiny so adult sized studs will look huge and funny on her little ears. Is basically anything at Claire's fair game for her next pair, or do I have to worry about infections if I buy cheapo metals from there as these will be her first earrings to change into?

The link says a single stud is $40. That would be $80 for a pair. What am I missing?

Ditto Kendra Scott, there are many options for $50 or less for a pair. You can also sign off for 50% off when giving birthday month and you will be sent a coupon code. You could sign up using your niece’s birthday.

Look around on Etsy. They have tons of options. I think hearts, initial, or birthstone studs would be nice.

She just got her ears pierced in October and I told her that for Valentine's Day I'd get her a pair of earrings. Budget is $50, she's 7, likes studs rather than hoops, and loves aqua, mint green, purple, and goes to a fancy private school and her family is kind of fancy (I'm not, hence my small budget). Can you link to nice yet inexpensive earrings? Thank you!
