Thanks. They do seem to be coming via Canvas. Will see if those changes make any difference down the road.

Weird problem, and no one at either the old middle school, the new high school, or the MCPS help desk seems competent to help.

We seem to still be on synergy (or maybe canvas?) announcement lists from last year's middle school. I can't seem to find out how to deactivate just those announcements, or find the appropriate person that can do it. Would dearly like to not be receiving constant updates from a school we no longer attend about their picture days, pep rallies, teacher appreciation days, field trips, etc, but do want to continue getting announcements from the current high school. Seems the only option is all or nothing. We should have been removed upon graduation, but appear to have not been, and nobody seems to know how to remove us from said lists.

I've unstarred still published classes from middle school, so at least the old school and classes don't show up on myMCPS any more, but we still get announcements via email etc. One would think there would be a simply clicky-button/tab to activate/deactivate said messaging. But there isn't, except at this all or nothing level.

Any suggestions on how to make our old middle school go away?
