Most men cannot be successful plumbers, electricians, or carpenters. My husband didn't even know what a Philips head screwdriver was in his 30s. He can't paint or do anything with tools.


I have a PhD and fix my own cars, do my own plumbing, etc.

It doesn’t, but it certainly correlates with being more politically liberal. And women are more liberal than men, so they prefer to partner with liberal men.

They will be like me. I have a grad degree, my DH didn’t finish college. Not everyone needs college to be successful in life. He makes a lot more than me, too.

Judging from other threads, like today, many of the women in college won't be heterosexual. So maybe it will all balance out.

More college women will either not date at all or all will date the same dudes; guys will get more dates with more women.

More 30 something educated women will realize they will not find a spouse until they give up the college-degree requirement or the divorced dads start dating.

But this is not new. Many college educated men have always been fine dating and marrying women without degrees, so the dating pool among the college educated has always been lopsided.
