If see if serious, there are plenty of B level teams in NoVA with open roster spots for the summer as well.

Tough but doable and wont catch up with just clinics and practice.

My DD played Arlington Lacrosse for several years and loved it. They do a good job.

No experience with their clinics but ST James is holding classes and clinics now and through February.

forgot to add: contact some clubs in your area and take her to tryouts and/or ask for an evaluation.

Not too late! I'm from the West Coast and my daughter (also a competitive soccer player, fast and played basektball) didn't start until 7th grade. She committed this Fall to play D1 (mid level team but higher academic university). Focus on getting her with a good trainer to help ramp up her stick skills etc

Second the recommendation to have her try rec this season. Note that in most places in NoVA, rec lacrosse ends after 8th grade. There are many camps and clinics in the area, though, if she really likes it and wants to continue and possibly try out for her high school team.

She should be okay to find a rec program to play with. Do the spring season and maybe she can find a travel program to pick up the summer season if her skills are there and she has the desire.
So, check out your local rec program and you should be good for tryouts in a few weeks.
