I didn’t go to Ibiza when I was in Spain for a summer in college, and I feel like I missed the boat!!

But you’re only as young as you feel!! If you are still cool and fun I’m sure you could do it haha.

Just came back from 4 days. I would totally recommend anybody going t Ibiza. It is so much more than drunk people. Amazing food and beaches and people.

Yes, definitely Mallorca if you prefer drunk Germans on package tours to drunk Brits on package tours.

We go because I am not the oddity with my top off there and DH can wear a European cut bathing suit (no not a banana hammock). and not look out of place. We can sit on the beach at a beach club and have great food, champagne, quality drinks and relax.

My first thought was Brits on package tours. There are probably better options for kids. Agree with San Sebastian, or the French side like St Jean de Luz.

Mallorca better for families I’d say, so many beautiful calm beaches and not centered around partying (although you can obviously).

That being said I was in Ibiza a year or so ago and saw lots of families there. There are some upscale beach clubs that are family friendly.

Go to Mallorca instead. It’s next door and a lovely island for families. Gorgeous beaches and calas.

I've been there a few times. Some parts are definitely drunken Brits and party central, and other parts are more serene and family-friendly. You can figure out often based on the quality of the resort.

Wham's Club Tropicana was filmed in Ibiza, though the hotel where it was filmed is sort of falling apart now:

No no. Go to San Sebastián instead for a European beach trip that is good for kids. Much classier.

My answer was going to be drunk British people. I don't think you will love it.

I’m trying to figure out if this is strictly a spot for those who party or if it can be more of a vacation? What did you do there? FWIW 38 with 3kids and wondering if it can be a beach vacation or is this a singles/dating go to party only type of place?
