William and Mary reports weighted GPA by typical Virginia standards, which are different from MCPS.
Please recalculate with 4.0 = A for general education classes, 4.5 = A for honors classes, and 5.0 = A for AP/IB classes.
MCPS overweights honors classes, so you aren’t comparing apples with apples.

Do you even indicate major for Swat and W&M? Not sure that will matter unless they are specific programs (like Georgetown SFS). Seems like she is a good candidate for all those schools but Swat is a lottery so who knows. GW seems likely but not sure it would be better than UMD Honors.

4.7 at end of junior year is high. There are a few kids (very few) who graduate with high 4.8s but they weren’t there at end of junior year.

OP here. Financial aid is not a consideration. Yes, perhaps we messed up, we are foreigners and don't know all the ins and outs of this. She applied to Georgetown SFS.
To answer other PPs:
1. She has the AP exam awards, one school award for having taken a challenging course load, and a government certificate of proficiency in her native language, because it was not taken through her public school. She took Latin at school to fulfill the language requirement and is in AP Latin this year.
2. The ethnicity box she checked does not reflect all her multi-culturalism from various countries, which she expanded on in her essay. But if URM just means Black or Hispanic, then no, she is not URM.

At this point, I’m sorry to be so harsh but she should have forgotten about gtown with that EA policy and applied ED to Swarthmore, followed by W&M ED2 if not accepted by Swat

At W and M, demonstrated interest is big, so she should take a tour and really focus hard on the essay about that.
