It definitely counts to your fluid intake. However, if you are dieting those are calories you could spend actually eating something nutritious. I add propel packets to my water. That also makes me drink a lot and is zero calories. Some people get fussed over the sucralose in it, but it has no ill effects on me.

Yikes, what's wrong with your genetics that your body can't handle a little bit of orange juice lol? That sucks

Do you not eat oranges, PP? OJ often has no added sugar. People are off their rockers today.

eating an orange is vastly different from drinking OJ. But go right on ahead. Mainline it...allll day long!

I will, I love OJ! Actually I'm on an apple juice kick right now though, with a splash of tart cranberry. So good.

I’m feeling cherry juice currently. It hits different!

I splash 100% lime juice. No added sugar, and makes my water so much better at times.

That's silly. A splash of juice is so minimal.

And yes, it still "counts" as water. Seriously?

What’s with everyone today? Why is everyone miserable. Literally someone knows the answer to any question posed here. So is everyone stupid? I hope this helped you feel superior. You’re clearly a guru, all knowledgeable! You’re too good to be here.

Yes
I would be interested to know the science behind why that splash makes water so much more drinkable

Yes. Water is water, whether it comes as part of another beverage (even caffeinated ones) or even food.

The other day I added a splash of OJ to my boring 20oz bottle of water. And then I did it again, and I’ve been doing it all week and I’m drinking so much water now. Yesterday I did the math and throughout the day I added less than 8oz/one 110 calorie serving of juice throughout the whole day.

Can I still count this towards my water intake, even with the added juice?
