At our school, we were told to help the teachers at our grade level. I helped rearrange desks, change boards, photocopy. It was relaxed but I felt helpful.

I think schools have some flexibility on this which is why you’re hearing different things. At our school we had a team meeting and then time to work on training and any other projects we might have.

At our school, if you don't have training, you're taking personal leave.

Perm, part time (4 hours) did PDO (CPI) today.

Since this is NOT a no work/no pay day for us like usual professional days, I'm curious if you have to go in and what you have to do when you are in. PDO isn't offering much.

I'm asking because I have 2 friends who are paras at different schools who are reporting different things, I'm wondering what is the norm.
