The school reached out 3 times after the due date for the supplemental essay for the honors program.

My DD was accepted into the honors program with merit based scholarship.

We were told to be available and awake at precisely midnight on the 15th of February. A group of existing parents of the school showed up and entered our house, forcing us to sit in a candle-lit circle. Needless to say, the rituals were special and secret, but it was no surprise when we received the admission notification.

Nope. We got into all the schools our kid applied to and didn’t get any indications, except at one very small school, where they basically said we got in after our visit.

Do you mean comments from admissions?

Go down this path and it only makes the waiting harder.
