There is a lot of social capital involved. I don't agree but it is the case at their schools. They love having fruit chews and granola bars to give to kids whose parents think like you. But they don't trade for the sushi. They trade for your Trader Joes chocolate milk or your fancy sandwiches. Your kids are eating fruit chews while mine dine on your sandwiches!
You sound really basic. Like in a very cringey way.

My daughter loves when I make sushi to send her. Always has. She likes me to send extra as her friends all want some. Sounds like you can’t cook.

What are some non-raw things you think go with sushi rice and nori?
I think the champion is clearly avocado. I’m also thinking egg, cucumber, that sort of thing.
I can’t seem to make chicken work. It’s always weird. But maybe steak? Bacon? Is that too weird?
