Yeah, I haven't really been buying cereal because the sales aren't good. My neighbor gave me some stuff she got from the food bank that she couldn't use which included a 7oz box of rice krispies-since when do rice krislpies come in a 7oz box!?

You need to figure out when your favorite cereal goes on sale (likely every 6 weeks). Buy enough when it is on sale to last until the next time it is on sale. Don't buy cereal at full price.

Cereal is, has been, and will continue to be DIRT CHEAP when thinking dollars for calories as a meal. I get that it is more expensive but it is still VERY affordable, especially generics. And I say this as someone who's family goes through 5 boxes of cereal a week so I buy a lot of cereal!

Way too overpriced in my opinion.
Only a matter of time until most people abandon cereal all together.
Highway robbery. Taking advantage of customers for a few extra bucks will hurt the cereal companies long term.
