Several jobs in the Dulles Tech Corridor that pay very well. As well as big government contractors such as BAE Systems and Raytheon.

It’s not per sq foot. Ever hit by is new now. As it gets older, it will get cheaper.

Our DCs friends moved from Great Falls to Landsowne for a bigger house. They got a mansion with a basketball court in their basement for less than one million in the early 2010s; now it’s worth close to 2 million. crazy

But why is Loudoun so expensive? The new builds are like 1.4million for a house that backs another house. Why do people pay that to move out there?

Fairfax has better resources like George Mason University (with theater and arts). Fairfax also has good medical facilities (hospitals). I will say that the metro line helps Loudoun, but there are more transportation choices in Fairfax. It's not as far to Reagan National and yet you still have Dulles. It's just a more central location. Easier access to all that DC offers even if you don't work there (Kennedy Center. Wharf, museums, etc.).

Fairfax and Loudoun are basically the same when you’re talking Reston and westward lol. Maybe a 5-10 min difference between Herndon and Ashburn.

Newer. More space and spread out. Good infrastructure with the metro. Location between DC and the city and the wineries in the western part of the county.

It's new and near lots of jobs. People like new. Also, Fairfax county schools are in a serious state of decline from the bottom up.
