Yep wanting to care for children is the worst!

Mine wanted to be a SAHM for 10 years before the first child was born. After the first child was born she realized how much work she'd have to do and got a low-paying job. But during a 9-month period of unemployment she kept the kid in full-day day care.

Is she really a mooch if she worked for 10 years?

You misread. Married for 10 years with no kids. Se didn't work during those 10 years. She also didn't do housework. She also complained that I didn't make enough and should do even more housework (I did a lot of it). Typical spoiled clueless DC woman.

Find someone who is able to support their own self financially. That is always your best bet no matter your tax bracket.

Having a parent stay home should be a joint decision. If you value that, ok. But it's not "free". Stay at home parents work very hard and it can lead to a lot of imbalance in relationships.

That's stupidity not mooching. Taking care of home and kids at no pay when she could've used your money to hire a nanny and a maid and enjoyed getting ready and spending time at a hobby job.

That's a life partner, not a mooch.

Routinely asking any of the following:

What’s for dinner (after you both worked all day)

Have you seen my X? (Looking for a house manager)

Telling his family that they need to check with you on plans.

Inability to keep their house clean, laundry done.

She is if she's a SAHM and the kid is in daycare full time.

If you have a spouse who’s a mooch, looking back what we’re some of the warning signs while dating?
