It’s rude … you’re asking about a test score. In just a couple of months you will know who got into AAP at your school (at orientation). Wait it out …

I had one friend ask me the other day about in-pool and I was thankful because we are at a non-center school and moving to a center school would be a big deal for my child, leaving friends behind (but IMO the best path for my child). This friend's child is a close friend of my child and if they both are accepted, it would make it a much easier decision for both children. That parent hadn't referred and wasn't completely clear on the whole process.

There is a certain group of people who think asking is rude. You know who they are, the uptight nincompoops who are very insecure about such things. Try to find like-minded parents and ask them. I would certainly not be offended if anyone asked me.

MYOB. If you send your kid to ask my DCs, they won’t tell you because they are trained to not disclose that kind of info.

Not at our school. We had a few friends who mentioned applying or being in=pool but that is all. Every so often parents will mention that they applied and their kid was or wasn’t accepted but that is only once in a while. It is more parents of kids who are friends.

Thankfully, other than one mom who talks too much about absolutely everything, I’ve never had a single conversation about AAP with other parents.

Is it discussed at your school which kids were in-pool? What about discussing which kids got into AAP? Is that discussed? I feel like it is crickets at our school.
