What aspects of in person school is she struggling with?

My DS hangs with neighborhood friends, has sports 5x a week and talks to friends online mostly. He is also in two after school online clubs. I know he would like more this but it’s all we can do for now.

Virtual Academy is a program not a school. Kids are still officially registered in their home school and are allowed to participate in extracurricular activities. If you are having problems, reach out to the principal and then the virtual academy Dean, or the cluster supervisor.

For a social kid, I think it’s important to have outside friend groups. But there are so many ways to do this so if virtual schooling works best for during the day, go for it! But be on the lookout for things outside of school such as art classes, scouting, sports, etc….
