I would commit if Rick is coaching the team, but not if someone else is.

I don't think you are alone in your opinion on this. He isn't good with the younger players. His communication style is not going to do well with the younger teams. Coaching College players is far from the same as coaching 8-12 year olds.

He may be approachable but thats it. The program isn't organized, he's the only qualified coach, and the teams aren't very good. The St James is all about making money. This program is reflective of that.

What year is/ are the team(s) he’s coaching? And what would make you commit vs not?

They are forming teams starting small with 5th/6th and 3rd/4th grade teams. They have rolling tryouts and are still taking new players.

For the cost it’s definitely worth it. Get free access to all the trainings, clinics, etc offered as part of the club cost. Has some growing pains as stated above. Need to continue to bring in talent as not fielding competitive teams. But if looking to get a kid a ton of reps and learn from a great coach worth it.

Definitely has potential to be a good place to get some year roun teps with a consistent facility. It needs numbers to pick up momentum.

Needs some influx of talent and has some organizational challenges. But yes, main Director is a great coach and good with the boys.

Former Navy HC is a legit coach.
