Same! I get as much as I can through food, but usually add a shake or bar to get me to my goal.

Op here. I get 80G protein from foods. I need the shake to push me over that, I just can’t eat enough. My original question was if I should keep the shake on non workout days. Thanks for your input.

Ick, don’t drink those things. Much better to get protein from real food. Better for you in general and better for your liver and kidneys in particular.

It is better to get it from whole foods, but if you would not fit your goal otherwise, have the shake. You need to hit your protein consistently.

Why not just eat a couple of eggs? Eggs contain the best source of complete proteins and amino acids. I eat them after my workout.

I’m pretty sure it’s every day but new to this and appreciate feedback. I usually have a shake w/ whey to boost extra 30g. I’m averaging 110g daily w/ supplement.
