I also came on here to suggest Paprika. I don't use it, but have had it recommended by several friends.

I started using Paprika a few weeks ago and really like it! It’s very easy to download my recipes from NYT, WPost Voraciously, plus other randoms I’ve found over the years. You can also manually enter your grandmother’s banana bread recipe, sort them into folders that work for you, scale ingredients. I didn’t shop around too much - Paprika came up first, and I’ve been happy with it.

What I would REALLY love is a way to download recipes and pictures into a book I could create and print on Shutterfly or something.

Hoping the collective can help! I have my mother's recipe box but, frankly, don't use many of the recipes from it anymore - even the ones I added in the pre-Internet days. I'm looking for an app that will allow me to store/create/write/save recipes - one that my kids (older teens) can access as well. Anyone have any experience with them? I checked the archives but couldn't find anything about this. I don't mind purchasing the app but don't want to pay a yearly fee. I'd rather pay once and be done. Thanks!

Here's some that I've come across:
Whisk
Paprika
