The first game was great and I think the show will be as well, but I really hope they don't follow the storyline of the sequel.

Tried to play the game but it was really slow. The first show followed the slow intro of the game but it looks promising.

Is it really gory? I can certainly handle violence, I watched Game of Thrones just fine, but I can’t do the body horror levels of disturbing gore that’s common in the horror genre.

DS loves the video games (can't say I watched him play) and I love zombies and Pedro Pascal so we watched. We both really enjoyed the first episode.

The game is a master piece, from music, story telling, down to the controller vibration are meticulously designed for a player led immersive experience. Show is great! The cast is excellent and HBO has some FU money budget.

We watched and really liked it. Reviews are saying it’s excellent. DH played the game and promised not to spoil anything for me, but I’ve been warned to expect all kinds of horrible things to happen. It’s a brutal, emotional story. Just how I like to spend Sunday nights!

I watched DH play the game, too - it’s wonderful storytelling, and I normally don’t like video games. The Post gave it a terrific review.

Same exact zombie show/post apocalypse survival show/movie that’s been done 1000x already. Thus far, nothing new.
