What am I even looking at? A week spring break in March, then a week of school and then another 3 days off? Just no.

And who came up with the gem that has June 17 and 19 as holidays, but June 20 as last day of school. Brilliant.

Four Draft calendars posted for each of the next three years on board docs

The sup also proposed that they set the calendars for two consecutive years. I’m not sure if that is still being discussed and if it is approved do we get 23-24 and 24-25 voted on Feb 9 th? Or is this two year calendar proposal just something they are thinking about for the future.

I can say that they sure didn't listen to me. No matter when they start school in Aug, they can't find a way to end school before June 11th. And at least one calendar has school going until JUNE 20th! That nuts. Any days after June 1st are pure wasted time. Full Stop.

Not that it matters, but I vote for ORANGE just b/c it ends sooner in June.

I think that means it is going to be presented for discussion at that meeting. The video specifically says it will be published on Jan 13th.

At marker 3:10 it specifically says that the proposed calendar(s) will be provided/posted by Jan 13th.

It is un-f-ing believable that we still don't have draft calendars. Every county around has their calendar by now. FCPS is such a damn mess.

Website has said Feb 9th. School Board is suppose to present Draft on Jan 17 and vote on Feb 9th.

The proposed calendars for 23-24 were supposed to be posted this week. Does anyone have a link or an update? Thanks.
