These ones seem like they're going to give you the most practical improvements - separate toilet (WC) area, W/D upstairs (this one is huge for me), space for linens. If the linen closet is a no-go if you do the expansion in #3, maybe consider if you can do linen storage in an extra dresser somewhere.

We have a large walkin shower with multiple heads/sprayers and it's heavenly.
A separate w/c in the bathroom, don't have a need for 2 bathrooms
I would create another separate office or even a bedroom (maximize value) rather than a sitting area - we already have a family room and a formal living room, and our kids are off at college - what do I need another sitting are for?

- Two walk in closets with room for dressers.
- Morning/coffee bar.
- If you create an adjoining office in your sitting area, recommend being able to close the door or some way to visually hide it. I hate seeing work computers in an area that’s for rest - makes me anxious and I hate clutter.
- Heated floors are a big plus in the bathroom like others have said.
- I don’t like open bathrooms to the bedroom like the loft style someone described earlier.
- No clue if you have this orientation but I love facing east for the sunrise.
- Wall sconces above the nightstands so you have more room/no need for lamps.
- Figure out your curtains/shades ahead of time because if you want it, you can build hidden rods/mechanism for the curtains to open/close. Other people probably know what this is called. It looks luxurious.

Heated towel rack (or better yet, oven warming drawer)
Heated tile floors
Rain shower and wall jets

I can’t picture what you mean by building out a closet into the attic, and having a linen closet in a master suite would not be a dream for me. How much space are you working with?

We just redid our 80s master bath/closet area, and the things I love best about the renovation are:

*DH and I have our own WCs and separate walk-in closets
*We now have a wet room with no glass (so I no longer need to worry about squeegeeing DH’s gloppy Dove body wash and shampoo) and it’s entirely flat so the roomba knockoff can easily vacuum several times a week
*There’s a lovely skylight in the center of the wet room and a heat lamp over the tub
*The floors in the master bath and closets are heated—this is the absolute best!

Preferences for bath renovations are all so personal and of course depend on space.

My ideal bedroom would be separate bathrooms!!
But short of that I my bathtub in its own space. Shower is at one side sinks/counter then toilet - in its own space - and then my sanctuary bathtub room. I may only have time for a luxurious bath 1x a week but love it!!! I have plants and big window.

I don’t know what it is called, but I love the design where there is a wall that doesn’t connect to the side walls of the room.

This wall acts as a room divider. And the headboard is along this wall. Behind it (accessible from both sides) is the bathroom or a closet/dressing room.

I love having a WC separate from the rest of the bathroom. We don’t really use our sitting area, but our MBR would be just one big square room without it.
