Yes- if you can see that it has not been opened def reach out. Evites always go to spam . I actually have now chosen the option to send them via text instead. Much easier and people respond more frequently.

If they didn’t open it, yes absolutely! If they did open it, I’d probably check in close to the date if I wanted them there or if it was small. Likely they just forgot.

Yes, please do! I got a group email from a mom once with further directions for a party the next day, but my kid hadn't received an invitation. When I reached out to her to ask about the party (awkward!), she realized she'd had a typo in my email address on the evite. She said she was wondering why I never opened it.

Please god yes. I am always missing evites.

No. If they don't respond by your TDVP date then they aren't attending.

I usually send an email reminder, but I’ll just text the parent directly if I’m friendly with them.

Similar story to others, but once I accidentally changed my evite settings so I didn’t receive any emails. I ran into a mom at school who asked if we could make it. Another time I missed a baby shower because my paperless post emails were being filtered into some random folder.

Yes, a quick text saying “hope you can make it to xx party” is not intrusive. Once, I missed an evite to a party that some friends mentioned, and I assumed that I hadn’t been invited, which wasn’t a big deal. The host texted to ask if I was coming and I was very glad she did. I would have been oblivious to being rude and not rsvp’ing if she hadn’t said anything. Not to mention, missing the party!

In my neck of the woods, we all use paperless post, not evite, because it ends up in spam much less frequently.

In my circles, the host reaches out before or after sending the invite, and invites get sent 3 to 4 weeks in advance. Yes, I would reach out to ppl who did not open evite.

If they are people I actually like and want them to attend, I do (and have). If they are my nosey neighbor who monitors my recycling bins and joking-not-joking asks about the invite they think they missed... yeah, no.

At the same time, I've been reamed out by a parent for not responding to a kids' party invite -- when they were the ones who screwed up my email address and misdirected it. So make sure you double-check your guest list before getting worried (or huffy) about a lack of response.
