Plenty of adults older than your dd have accounts like this.

Speaking from experience I think it is better for you to back off your adult kids' SM.

She probably wishes you had more friends irl so you wouldn't spend so much time stalking her online.

It's normal in that world. There are girls who have literally gone to college at Berklee to become music producers because of their deep involvement in the One Direction fandom. It's normal for people to have online friends.

Does anyone's adult (18+) kid have a fan account? Like Taylor Swift, One Direction, or something else? My 19 YO dd has a BTS (k-pop) fan account. It's an open Twitter account (she doesn't know that I know the handle) so I can stalk it. It's not necessarily bad, but just so stupid. She used to post on it quite a bit in high school, not as much in college, but several times a week. Mostly just posting memes and gifs and retweeting Kpop news. I know she has made some friends this way, but I'd prefer her to make some more in-person friends. Oh, and on her fan account she goes by an alternate name ("Alex") and is non-binary and bisexual and has a fake profile picture. She does not present non-binary in real life at all, and I don't think she is bisexual, but I guess can't be sure. She did have a boyfriend a few years ago. I just feel like it's so juvenile and 19 is way too old for this. Is this normal?
