Ring is easy to install yourself (I just did it last month, took maybe an hour) and has glass break sensors as well as sensors that you can put on doors and windows. You just need a base station, you don't need an Alexa unless you want to control the Ring with your voice (which is nice but not a must-have). One thing I really like about Ring is that you can add as much or as little as you want (motion detectors, cameras, flood sensors, etc.). The only thing required is the base station, keypad, and one of the door/window sensors.
Does it qualify you for an insurance discount?
