We love our XC90

My MIL whose entire family seems to have back pain refuses to ride anything other than a Lexus. I gotta say that Lexi are very, very comfortable.

Agree that heated seats are a must. Also, maybe go see a physical therapist/dr to work on the source of back pain.

I have a horrific back and the highlight of the day for me is heating and massage on the Volvo XC90 drivers chair

XC90 owner - absolutely recommend for back comfort.

I have lower back issues and am looking for a car with a seat that eliminates the gap between my lower back and the upright part of the seat (as in our current car).

We drove an ID4 yesterday and it is the best comfort-wise for me out of the 6 or so cars we’ve driven. Maybe you could try one of their larger SUVs? I’m 5’5” so YMMV.

I would try a BMW X5/X7 as they have a lot of configuration and adjustability in their seats. They also spend alot of money on good ergonomics for maximum comfort. You can even get one with massages on the glutes for long trips so your muscles aren’t static.

Anything that sits high and has lumbar support with heated seats. I have sciatica and used to love long drives to soothe my back

Our forester is pretty good. You basically just want legroom and easily adjustable seats. The forester also has a lot of headroom and visibility which helps.

I love my GLS 450. The seats can adjust so many ways as well as puff up/down with air for lumbar support. Seat heater obviously helps too.

Do you have an SUV you love that is great for a person with back pain? Please recommend. Looking for full size suv.
