Yes, let her see it. I can’t think of another horror that centres on a pre -teen girl and the violence is much more mild than most. She will probably be more aware of some of the pop cultural references used than you will actually. I had to Google a couple of things from my phone afterwards to understand some jokes .

DD is 11 and totally wants to see. She's very mature for her age, wondering if we should do it? She has seen a bunch of horror movies and loves them and has a very edgy black sense of humor.
