Alderton is no different from anyone else on the board so there really is no where to go. Then end result (a board obsessed with equity instead of education, a board that follows the directions of a superintendent who is no longer there but might as well be, a board that has zero respect for parents and works to silence parents) would be the same.
I suggest that if you want change, get together with other parents you know who feel the same and simply show up in person to SB meetings. You don't have to speak or do anything. Speaking from experience, it freaks them out because so few people (no one) does it. Let go of your fear of being called a racist by the board member and PTA parents. They do it so often that it's actually become a joke.
Go through the budget and ask questions. Are they paying Hutchings? You can FOIA consultant records and invoices. Why are they so in the hole but haven't spent COVID funds? A month ago, school board members (specifically Elnoubi) didn't know how much or on what 54 million of COVID funds had been spent. Why?
No one is going to swoop in and save ACPS unless parents step up.
