Re - Stick Shift Driving Academy
Sheer waste of time and money, They mention uphill and downhill. Nothing is taught. You are not even allowed to drive on the road. And you are not even shown how to change to 3rd Gear. You will just be shown to drive on a small parking lot with just 1st Gear and 2nd Gear. It is not worth a 3 hour lesson.

Hell no I wouldn't let someone learn on my car and burn out my clutch.

Unless you're letting them floor and dump the clutch a bunch of times, stalling a couple times won't hurt your clutch too much.

I've had at least 3 situations in the past 10 years where other Americans were stuck because they could only drive automatic and I was able to get manual. It's still a useful skill, just not needed daily.

Same, except you never when you will need to drive one again (vacationing in Europe for example). I’m already thinking about how I’ll teach my kids this when the time comes.

The crummy, cheap cars with stick shift are no fun. The fast cars are a lot of fun with a stick.

Every car is fun with a manual.

It’s what separates “drivers” from “people who drive”.

+100, not on your life. Nope. Maybe if I was just getting ready to do a clutch replacement anyway, but the timing would have to be perfect.

If the guy is a legitimate, skilled instructor who both actually knows how to drive a stick properly and impart that knowledge to others it seems like a good investment. If not it may just lead to the acquisition of bad habits and/or frustration.

I could “drive” a stick shift, but the one professional lesson I had in connection with driving a job vehicle was a huge eye opener. The instructor broke things down in a way I’d never experienced before and taught me about the “friction point” that is the essence of stick driving.

Getting a friend or neighbor to teach you is hit or miss. Like me before the employer lesson they may be able to “drive” a stick but may be doing so inefficiently or in a way that shortens the life of the essential components. Or they may have great technique but no idea how to teach someone else to reproduce it.

Go on tinder and look for guys Who can drive a stick. Make then buy you dinner and drinks on way home let them teach you to drive a stick.

Don’t laugh I know a sine lady, plumbing, electrical, moving heavy items that’s how she does it.

Men are stupid

Interesting. Didn’t even know this existed. I drove my nephews car over the holiday. I’d forgotten how fun it is.

They seem to only be located in MD - we're in NoVA. Anyone had experience with this company? TIA.
