There’s no clear information of curriculum with class offerings, extracurriculars, etc….

Unless DCPS can get their act together to be transparent about leadership, curriculum, sports, extracurriculars, etc… I don’t think many families are going to take the risk with their kids being the 1st of a brand new high school.

Nope. We have a child in 5th at a Hardy feeder and planning on Hardy and MacArthur. There is some concern over uncertainty, but also excitement at the potential for the new, smaller school with very strong feeders.

Is there a mass exodus from DCPS of in boundary upper elem and MS kids bc of MacArthur? Are most parents that can affording going to private schools or is it less dire than I’ve heard?
