For my daily shower I use soap and wash cloth on: neck, underarms, under/around boobs, nether regions, and feet. I use face wash and wash my face w my hands. I shampoo and condition my hair every other day or if I know it needs it (sweaty, been in chlorine or salt water, etc)

I never feel cleaner than I do after a good foot scrubbing. I love my loofah, especially in the winter. My whole body gets scrubbed. Your DH seems to be closer to extreme, but he’s definitely normal.

DH does that as well. I don’t scrub my body as if I’ve been playing in the mud - totally unnecessary and actually bad for my skin.

I think you are the weird one OP. I use my scrubby sponge and soap my whole body. I also run daily, so even if I don’t appear dirty, I am.

DH cleans his entire body, every time he showers. He uses a washcloth and, for example, washes his feet all around and completely. He also holds the washcloth in opposing hands and swipes it back and forth across his back. He’s very thorough.

I…do not do that. Unless I’m very dirty (visibly so) or it’s the heat or summer. I let the soap run down, most of the time, and/or use my hands on my legs.

I find DH showers to be so…intense.
