Classic rolled outs. Put 1/2 cup in a bowl with 1 cup water and some salt. Microwave for 1.5 minutes. Pull it out and put a lid (or just a plate) on top of it for a couple more minutes. Add a tb of real maple syrup.

Optional yummy toppings: blueberries, roasted salted almonds, roasted sunflower seeds.

gluten free instant Quaker oatmeal

time : about 3 minutes if I microwave the water but I do the stove version. About 5 minutes.

Aside from being truly gluten free, the oats are smaller and easier for me to swallow.

I like to add walnut or cashew milk and some crushed walnuts and a bit of brown sugar to my bowl.

Correction: 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/2 cup steel cut, 3 cups water

You could also add an egg in it or egg whites. Just temper them first and stir continuously for a few minutes . You can’t taste egg

I like steel cut oats in the instant pot. It takes about 25 min, but it’s hands-off, so I put it on then get dressed.

Trader Joe's frozen Steelcut Oatmeal is so good! Just microwave for about 4 min. Then I add bananas, blueberries and chia seeds.

TJ's has a bunch of oatmeal options. Steel cut is suppose to be better for you. Stay away from the instant, too much sugar. We like walnuts, raisins and brown sugar.

I used toasted rolled oats. Put in a bowl with milk, shaved almonds, and sliced strawberries. Leave in fridge overnight

I need a quick and healthy breakfast situation and I'd like to try oatmeal. What are your favorite ways to make this or what instant oatmeal do you like that doesn't have a ton of sugar?
