Alternate with peloton strength class. You'll look better and be less injury prone.

I take multiple classes a day with one being cardio (tread or bike). Depending on what other classes I take, the cardio may be intense down to low impact. Listen to your body.

Agree. I’ve done 45 minutes 3-4 days/week for almost five years. I would have burned out doing it every day.

If I do more than 3 days in a row I start to get tendonitis in my ankle/shin. So I generally do 5ish days a week.

Definitely stretch (quads, glutes, hip flexors, outer hip, IT band, as well as full body) and mix in other exercises like yoga if you can. I know two people who developed injuries from daily rides, but that’s all they were doing.

I agree. Depends on your personality and your level of fitness. You want to do something that’s sustainable, mentally and physically. For me, I find 3-4 times a week on the Peloton (30 min classes) plenty. I try to walk or strength train on other days. It’s also a good break for my bottom. 😀

Thanks. So you’re saying make sure I stretch my hamstrings a lot if I’m doing it every day?

Totally fine. Your hamstrings are likely to get tight, so don’t forget to park on that mobility. Especially when taking some time off and especially when sitting at a desk for multiple hours at a time.

You can do it every day. I take a day off once a week because my hamstrings get too tight.

I don't think you need any breaks from biking unless you are going super intense or doing really long sessions (like over 60 min).

Biking is pretty easy on the joints (compared to running, for ex) so 20-30 min per day should be fine. But listen to your body. If its making you feel burned out then switch it up and do something different on some days. But if you feel good and don't have any aches/pains, no reason to stop.

You may not want todo an intense class everyday to start off with. But nothing wrong 20 min to an hour of cardio everyday.

I'd like to do Peloton every day for either 30 minutes or 20 minutes (on days I am doing other exercise, like yoga or walking). Is that ok or do I need to take days off from Peloton altogether? If the latter, can I ride 5 days a week? 4?
