Same. I'm happy to give up the drawer space to have the counter space.

Magnetic table top knife holder, but it’s narrow so the footprint feels smaller than a knife block. Used to have a magnetic strip and loved it but don’t have that in current house

Same for me but add 2 sets of tongs to the magnetic strip. In our small kitchen that means the knives are within easy reach of stove & counter.

Just loose in a knife drawer. They are used so much that putting into a block is tedious.

Knife block? Drawer? Magnetic strip?

Currently use a knife block, but considering switching to a magnetic strip to free up a bit more counter space. Wondering if there's a down side I'm not aware of.
