+1
Yes. Do this.

OP, your sister is an unmitigated ass. What can you do? Keep calm and carry on.

That’s awful, I’m sorry. Definitely ask if you could print one!

I wish in the moment I had said “Did Santa forget mine?” Or something that would have gotten the point across and also to add a little shame to her at the same time. But in the moment I couldn’t trust my take on the situation so just politely watched the others go through the albums and complimenting each page.

Nobody noticed because it was at the end of giving out presents and she passed them out at the end. We only shop for one family member (pick out of a hat) so I didn’t exchange any gifts with that sister. The albums were just a bonus given at the end for the families and parents.

Just say, “I would love an album. Can I order one off Shutterfly?” And she’ll probably apologize and gift you one.

Did anyone else notice or say anything to her? What was she thinking??? I agree - she was very rude. What did she get you instead?

Thank you. Couldn’t tell if I was in my head or not. Appreciate the confirmation.

For what it’s worth, it was the same album given to each family.

That's terrible when this is a gift that would be just as meaningful to a single adult and so easy to just print another one. Sorry OP.

For Christmas, my sister made photo albums of a recent family trip to Italy. Very thoughtful gift and the albums were amazing. We had traveled as an extended family earlier in the year. There are five adult siblings, four of which have their own families/children. On Christmas, my sister gifted this photo album (one each) to each of the families. I'm the single person of the family and did not get one. I felt upset that I wasn't included, and it was a little embarrassing of what to do when everyone was looking at the albums when the presents were given out. Am I off? Or is this a common thing to only "give" to a family?
