Yeah I wasn’t holding on, was cognizant of my form, thin and in shape etc. I must’ve been minutely out of form – it takes a long time for the pain to show up – and then a long time for it to go away lol.

Be careful Dash are use the highest incline for months and messed up my back. Took almost a year for it to completely go away.

What was your form like? I see SO many people (the majority, honestly) of people holding on to the machine and leaning back. You're supposed to have NO hands on the machine, swing your arms and lean forward - balancing the weight of your upper body over your lower body. Just like when you walk up a regular hill outside.

Autocorrect:/ — I meant that I used the highest incline…

Bump. I like the Sole, but it looks really long (82"?!). Any other recommendations?

I have used my Sole treadmill 6 days a week for over 2 years and still love it. I have not had any desire to do a guided workout (I just set the speed on 4.3 and the incline on 10 and walk for 60-70 minutes while watching a show).

But I'm sure you could put an app on a tablet if you want an instructor. The incline goes to 15 but my joints are not crazy about anything above 12.

I have the Peloton Tread and love it. I use it several times a week exclusively for walking or hiking. The hike classes are perfect if you like walking on incline, and for me just the 20 minute ones can be a huge cardio workout. Most of the power walk classes incorporate incline to varying degrees as well -- lately I've especially found Kirsten Ferguson's walks have a lot of incline (she calls her power walks "pikes" lol).

I got the NordicTrack 2450 a couple weeks ago. Seriously considering returning it. The auto adjust incline up to 15% is nice (although loud/unsmooth enough that you never forget you're on a machine). However, we've had a couple issues from day 1. Their customer service is so horrendous we have have not been able to schedule a service visit, despite numerous attempts at contacting them.

We just got the Horizon 7.4 treadmill. It goes up to 15 for incline. I love that it transitions super smoothly between inclines and speed for HIIT work, which is why we got it. Def check it out.
