According to DCUM that is impossible. I am fully expecting Mary Bara the CEO of General Motors to congratulate me in the morning. I heard in Japan it will be a national day of sorrow. How could an American car do that? When Japan finds out they will be pouring billions into R&D.
Please DCUM Gods of Auto explain how it happened. I read thousands of posts on the Cars and Transportation thread and it just cant happen. No American Car could do a 12 hour round trip at ten years of age successfully.
I’m not surprised at all. Today’s American cars are more reliable than Japanese cars. My 2008 Ford Fusion is still running strong at 310.000 miles.
I was told it wouldn’t last 100.000 miles. Meanwhile, my wife’s 2010 Toyota Camry was done before 150.000 miles and had to be replaced this year.
Anecdotes are not data. Sorry you can't afford decent cars though.
