Receptive, maybe. But only if the bike trails are for white people only. Because Youngkin.

No, bike trails. Not “mixed use” trails. Pedestrians already have more than enough sidewalks to shuffle around on. When we say bike trails, we mean trails for the exclusive use of bikes. Not walkers, joggers, people pushing strollers, whatever. Bike trails. For bikes.

Pretty self explanatory, really. Not sure where the confusion is. Did you go to trump U or something?

Your response is the perfect reason NOT to build more bike trails in Fairfax. We might end up with more neighbors like you.

You may want to get therapy for your anger management issues towards pedestrians and babies.

That would be absolutely fantastic. We don’t need the whole parkway - just convert one side of it to a two-way bike parkway and make the other side two-way traffic for cars.

Sounds good to me.

The environmental reasons cited can be mitigated with proper construction techniques.

You would think so, but those opposed cited possible damage to potentially valuable artifacts from George Washington's former farmland. You know, the valuable artifacts buried in the power line cut that was going to become dual use. So, no bike path connecting Route 1 to Telegraph.

Governor Youngkin just visited a Fairfax bike shop and purchased 2 bicycles.

The stores owner advocated for more bike safety and lanes, and the Governor seemed quite receptive to the ideas.

Covert the Silver Line to a multi-use trail. It could be like the NYC high line.

We need more of them, there's not enough.
