omg no. This is terrible news
Foust has been a do-nothing.
Years ago there was a Board of Supervisors meeting on the conversion of the old Mount Vernon HS [had been rented to Saudis] to a community center. Penny Gross-D-Mason District- was the only one to bring up special tax district. That should have been from Foust since Mclean has one and the Hunter Mill rep since Reston has one.

Herndon-Dranesville and Vienna -Hunter Mill are towns with taxes that fund community centers. That leaves Mclean and Reston as outliers in this county. reston CC construction was funded by county bond process - paid off in 1999?
County Trash, recycling, leaves etc- Foust has some areas with county services. Most of those who get the reliable service from the county are in other magisterial districts like Lee?, Mount Vernon, Mason.

If 2021 collection costs for those with county service were estimated at $435.31 then why was the rate increased for 2022 to $400 instead of the $432.24 estimate? Off course county customers give it a high rating but 90% of the county is on their own and most paying higher rates.
I don't care if Democrat or Republican- on trash etc the county should have zones and contracts with haulers and the special tax district stuff needs to applied objectivley across this county.
