Having one is not a breeze if you wanted two, and can't. Then you get to parent one with crippling grief.

We have six. Four live with us. I had to shift my mindset to that similar to a teacher herding a class of kids from activity to activity and then it got a lot easier. Then you just pull kids aside when there's a problem or whatever.

I am so happy we had 4 and can’t imagine only having 2. Funny how it’s such a personal decision.

I know the future could hold any number of challenges, but I have to agree that my family of two close-in-age girls feels perfect.

The second was an accident and it was the luckiest break. The have about 2 years between them, get along fantastically, and I feel like I hit the parenting lottery sometimes.

I get a lot of "wait til their teenagers" comments though so we'll see. I was an ahole as a teen so I deserve what's coming to me haha.

I have a 6 year age gap between 1 and 2 and this is such an accurate way of putting it. I tell friends they shouldn’t be afraid of having 1 and 1 only because it’s really not that big of a change to your life. Now I have 3 and that’s a different story!

Yes, same. I have 2 girls and I just knew that was it. I feel "complete"!

If anything I would like to add another dog or cat to our lives in the future.

I was so conflicted with my choice at first. I always pictured either zero or two, never an only. Once I let the hormones subside after a year or two, I see how perfect my choice was!

I really do respect everyone's choices in the number of children they have.

But for me, I have to say that 2 is enough!

One would have been a breeze, 2 is much crazier and I just can't even imagine 3 or more.
