Eggs won't go down anytime soon. Food items with egg won't either. The cat food we buy has egg in it. The price has nearly doubled in the past year. The number one reason I stocked up on it when the price was still affordable.
Butter ? No. When I saw butter on sale during the summer we started buying 2 pounds every time my husband shopped and froze it.
Coffee is ridiculously expensive now just like the economic reports said it would be. I stocked up on that too. For a while bran cereal was hard to find. When I did find it I ordered a lot online. Ever noticed your milk container shape lately ? Yeah, greedy guts slimmed it down.
I do not regret prepping.
Keep an eye on vitamins and OTC medicine. Advice ? Buy the biggest you can afford and super stock that.

I know the price of eggs was high because of the bird flu but are there projections for a price drop? Costco has a 2 egg package limit, which I think is new-ish. What about butter? Was that high because of gas?
