Spray it with Prestone ice and frost fighter. Cover with a towel overnight.

I have a Volkswagen iD4 and I’ve noticed my windshield doesn’t get frost or ice on it like gasoline vehicles do. Yet another reason EV’e are better.

I usually turn on the car, turn on the defroster at a medium setting, then take a napkin and wipe down the inside of the windshield. I keep a pile of napkins from takeout and drive-through in the door pocket. I find that once you wipe the window down, it takes a few minutes before the window starts to fog up again. By that time, the engine is warmed up and you can turn the defroster on high and it will clear the window quickly.

Throw the top back and turn the heater on full blast.

Bad advice. Always allow your engine to warm up gradually with moderate driving for at least the first few miles. There’s too much wear and tear on components if the oil and other lubricants are not within ideal operating range. Check your oil temp gauges.

You are most likely trapping warm, moist air in the car with the recirculation setting. Most modern cars run the AC compressor to prevent this condition when you select defrost for the windshield but changing your circulation setting to fresh air and briefly opening your window slightly will also work.

I think my car blasts cold air but I remember my grandfather turning the heat WAY up. And why does this seem to creep up and then it’s nearly full on fog?
