yes. they deserve paid vacation time too just like we all do. I am not a pp but will say with my previous home daycare provider I also gave two weeks pay for the same reason that another pp mentioned, she should have raised her rates long ago. For my current provider for my second, I will probably give a week because her rates are fair and a good bit higher.

We do a weeks pay to everyone (owner and assistants). $1200 is a lot but worth it for them.

I always gave equally and separately to the owner and her assistant.

A week of pay is standard. We do 2 weeks of pay because I believe mine should have raised her rates long ago and she hasn't.
