Didn’t live Devil in the White City, though have liked this other books by Larsen.

I’d recommend two “oldies”: Undaunted and Boys in the Boat

You are Your Own Best Thing. It’s a collection of essays collected and commissioned by Tarana Burke and Brene Brown. The audiobook is phenomenal

I found Jaycee Dugald's autobiography moving and compelling and I also felt that her voice should be heard / read given how long she was held captive and clearly unheard.

Random Family is an amazing book about a family and neighborhood in the Bronx; riveting and novelistic and full of empathy.

Any recommendations?
I am currently reading "I'll be gone in the dark" and have read Dreamland about the opioid crisis. Both are really good.
