It is particularly hard. I appreciated my church mentioning those struggling. I did eventually have children but I try to be super sensitive about others' unspoken obstacles during this season.

I’m so sorry. I’ve been there (multiple years). I know that it can feel very isolating, so don’t be afraid to share with a trusted friend. Even if that person has no direct experience with infertility, it can be freeing to be honest that you are struggling. I appreciate all of the reasons that women don’t like to share details about infertility and early pregnancy but, for me, opening up to close friends was really helpful. My journey took many years, it is very much a part of who I am as a person and (finally) a parent, and I’m glad that I shared that part of my life with people who could help lift me up.

Also, and I appreciate you didn’t seek advice on this, but don’t be afraid to seek a second opinion. Three canceled transfers in a row is a lot.

Best of luck to you.

This time last year I thought I would either be super pregnant for Christmas this year or have a baby. I had a successful retrieval earlier this year, but I've had 3 cancelled transfer cycles since then. I'm just tired of my heart hurting and feeling like I have nobody to talk to about it.
