Prefer not to spend $$$ since her goal isn’t a top school but would at least like her to get into some in state options. Didn’t realize they offered test prep. Is it any good or are the paid programs that much better.
My DC took the summer SAT prep class offered at Blair, and I thought it was very good at teaching test strategies and reviewing the concepts for the test.
Our child also took a class in August that basically consisted of taking several sample tests from the College Board website under timed conditions and reviewing the answers to see what they did wrong. You probably could do that at home if you're willing to structure it.
With those two classes, DC received a very good SAT score. I think it depends on the child what works for them, though.
Khan Academy might also work, but after so much distance learning, we wanted DC to have in-person classes.
