Subject: Do you give anything to daycare administration office and floaters?
I'm an administrator at a daycare and while you may not see me interact with your kids, I am actually doing a lot of support for the teachers that includes subbing at times the teachers are out of the classroom (staff meeting, dr appointments, illness, etc). So your kids get to know me really well. Just something to consider.

Yes, I give a big box of snacks and drinks. Sparking waters, coffee drinks, energy drinks, tea, soda, grab and go snacks that are allowed (I'm a big nut person but our daycare doesn't allow). I give those pickle snacks, popcorn, Cheezits, Pirate's Booty, granola bars, cereal bars, mini cereals, chips, dark chocolate sour gummy candy, fruit leather, fruit snacks.

One of the parents organizes a center-wide collection for all the staff, so the floaters and admins get gifted from that pool. I ask for the staff list for my kid’s classroom and only personally gift those people.

Subject: Do you give anything to daycare administration office and floaters?
We have like maybe 3-5 people working at my Kid’s daycare administration offices, and they are assistant director/director that I pass by everyday at drop off/pickup. Do you give holiday gifts to them? Like chocolate or small items? Or giftcards? If giftcard, how much is appropriate? They are administrator, and they do not teach my kids.
And, I think there are a few floaters working at my kid’s classroom, but I only see them occasionally at pickup, and I am not sure how long do they stay there. They combine a few classroom kids at late afternoon hours, so I don’t know. Should I give them anything? They never talk to me.
