That last one would be the most important one in your situation. An adult will sit with the kid and verify they're answering the entire question.

Break Down Assignments Into Smaller Units
Have Student Repeat and/or Paraphrase Information
Monitor Independent Work

Some teachers use Sticky Notes to provide checklists to their students. Older students can be transitioned to making their own sticky notes.

DD has ADHD and tourettes. She will often answer the first part of a question on an assignment but not the second half. Or she will misread the question and then not answer it appropriately as a result- even though if it was accurately explained to her, she would be able to provide the correct answer.

-My 8 year DD is constantly getting lower marks due to not fully answering the questions on tests and assignments, despite knowing the content. Has anyone ever gotten an accommodation such as
having the directions for tests/assignments presented in a checklist format so she could check them off as she completes them? What are some other ways to address this issue?
