Check out St Pats website for info on 2022 placements. Looks like strong Year with kids with kids going to lots of different HS, including NCS, St Albans, Sidwell, Holton, Maret, Madeira, etc.

Where do the nicer families tend to go after St. Pats? Not trying to be a jerk but honestly curious as I would say most (not all) of the St. Pats families that have landed at our school would meet the less flattering description posted above - insular, cliquey, etc…

We are a current family and I think it's hilarious that people think St. Pat's is full of social climbers.

We came from a public and those parents were much wealthier overall than St. Pat's. St. Pat's is much more down-to-earth than our local public.

I wouldn’t base an entire nursery-8th grade school based on one jerk couple you know. I hate to say it, but there are money obsessed families everywhere.

We had kids at St Pat’s and was both very welcoming and surprisingly inclusive. All the stay at home mom’s volunteer, so it’s actually a benefit for you if you are a parent with an intense work schedule!

Yea. I didn’t tell this anecdote to be a dick or anything. I know zero about the school. Maybe it’s a great place. But I know these parents very well, I know what their values are, and I know how hard they looked before deciding on st Pat’s. And man do they care about money and prestige!

A lot of social climber families. I’ve noticed that the nice ones we know who initially go there don’t last long.

Very inclusive, lots of single-income families with SAHMs compared to other area private elementary schools.

Yowza. Not our experience at all. But I admit we aren’t worried about socializing with other parents and we don’t socialize with them. Our kid is happy and that’s all we care about. We find the other families friendly.

Current family and there have a been a few welcoming families but overall it is awful. My daughter seems to liking it as she gets along with everyone and thrives pretty much everywhere. I do worry about her being surrounded by kids whose parents care more about the their social needs vs. the children. I wish I had picked a school where it is all about the children vs. the parents.

I have found them to be very inclusive, warm and welcoming. Very diverse as well, if you are looking for that.

We were trying to gauge the parent community at St. Pats.

Any pros or cons. And how inclusive are they.
