Thanks any idea which one has better reputation between capital heights and glenarden?
Both have excellent reputations. If you are going to stay in the area for Middle School, consider what the zoned TAG program is. I know that CHES students split into Kenmoor and Walker Mill. Kenmoor TAG has a good reputation (we have been very happy), Walker Mill....not so much. This is from 2018. The author ended up getting her child moved into a different TAG program (Tasker) and has been happy there.

I'm not sure about Glenarden Woods. They might split into Greenbelt/Kenmoor/Tasker but I'm not sure. Ranking them I would say Tasker/Kenmoor/Greenbelt but they are all good programs. Kenmoor is getting a new building next year and Greenbelt has serious over crowding.
You can search addresses on Schoolfinder and see what the zoned specialty programs are.
