NP here and Hopkins alum - everyone I know who went there calls it Hopkins. Really, who wants to say "Johns Hopkins" all the time?

Well, people who go there/went there/work there/live near it say that all the time just FYI.

Great win by Hopkins! MIT, Amherst, WashU, Williams, Emory, and CMU all won games in the D3 women's soccer tourney too. UChicago won the men's title game over Williams. The results show that many of the high-academic D3 schools are recruiting seriously and successfully.
Notice no mention of CalTech (the only real exception to athletic recruiting among top schools).

Yes, the lax is d1, but Hopkins is becoming a powerhouse among academic D 3 schools. Not only did the women’s soccer team just win the national championship after an unbeaten season, the women’s cross country team just won its 8th national championship in 10 years, the women’s volleyball team won a national championship in 2019, and the women’s field hockey team went to the national championship semi finals the past two years. https://hub.jhu.edu/2022/12/04/johns-hopkins-womens-soccer-national-championship/
